Happy Easter weekend everyone!! We are monitoring an area of possible severe storms late this evening into early Easter morning. Below is outlined a “general” overview of areas and threats. Rain will be more widespread than outlined areas. The outline is simply highest area of impacts related to severe winds up to 60 mph and Hail up to or larger than 1″. Timeline looks to be after 11 PM tonight through 2 to 3 AM. Flash Flooding in low lying areas is possible with locally heavy downpours along I44 in SW Oklahoma.

Severe threat looks to stay south of I40 and along I44 just south of Chickasha. Storms should lose their strength between Hwy 81 near Duncan and I35 near Ardmore then become rain showers with lightning and move ENE overnight. We’ll stay up and on top of it for you as it begins. 🙂 Have a safe and Happy Easter and post more later! – #OSCJonM #OKWX

P.S. Tornado threat is as close to 0 as you can get. -from Oklahoma Storm Chasers https://bit.ly/1S9dvK2
