Arklatex regions are under the gun this afternoon through the night time hours. Atmosphere supports supercell activity with tornado threat possible. As the Low Pressure parked in SW Oklahoma spins ENE and converges with a cold front boundary it will trigger storms and movements along eastern edge of Low Pressure will be erratic. Main threats include large hail up to or larger than golf balls, damaging winds in excess of 70 mph, frequent cloud to ground lightning, heavy rains, flooding in already heavy hit areas, and Tornadoes. Please monitor the page and your local weather stations for latest information as this begins to unfold. Be safe, be smart, and always weather aware! – #OSCJonM #ARWX #OKWX
Jesse Post will be on the road in these regions as will many spotters/chasers. We wish him, others, and all communities safe and clear travels. via Oklahoma Storm Chasers https://on.fb.me/1QQPfeS
