Today: Very small possibility of an isolated storm cell or 2 in Western counties by the afternoon early evening hours. Main threats will be moderate rain and few rumbles of thunder. Nothing severe expected
Monday 3-7-16: Latest info still supports Severe weather conditions for tomorrow beginning mid afternoon through evening hours as outlined in image below. SW Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma including OKC Metro, and Southern KS has slight tornadic potential with any severe cells that fire along a potent Dryline stationed in Western Oklahoma. The main hazards will be large hail up to golf balls with some larger possible in isolated areas. Frequent cloud to ground lightning. Damaging winds up to 75 mph. Lastly, as stated before, isolated Tornado threats.
Tuesday 3-8-16: Although it’s still a couple days out… Data is beginning to show a potential for Tornadic activity and Severe thunderstorms in Southern portions of state. Tornado potential looks to be the same or even slightly higher for Tuesday but could change as time goes on. Threats from Monday will be possible in outlined areas marked Tues. We will update and advise throughout the early week to keep you in the know and give best advanced warning we can to keep you all safe!!
