Oklahoma Storm Chasers – Snow Tonight Update

by Jan 16, 2016NWS Alerts, Weather Blog

Quick post update before I head to bed. The moisture is starting it’s slow transition into Wintry mix then to Snow just NW of Elk City, OK area now. Once we hit the 11-12 AM hours the process will start to increase and some of us in Western, Central, and SW Oklahoma could wake up to snow cover. Nothing of huge impacts expected. Avg snowfall will be between .25- 1.5″ with isolated totals along I44 in SW Oklahoma up to 3″. Sleep well and bundle up this weekend and throughout the work week. Goodnight! – #OSCJonM
